I can’t connect to my wifi

I’m having the same issue? Everything else connects to the WiFi just fine but I just can’t connect my xbox to any wifi

Whenever I try to connect to my WiFi it just says it can’t connect. I also can’t connect to a wired connection as my Xbox is on the other side of the house as my router. I also only have my controller plugged into the Xbox.

There is a service issue going on at the moment.

What would a service issue have to do with preventing a hardware from accessing a wifi network

They are completely separate things.

My Xbox One X for example, started yesterday and had this issue for a few hours.

My internet went down for about 15 min during a repair, when it came back up, the Xbox refused to connect to the wifi

Today, the same thing happened, and it still refuses to connect to my router.

I set up a hotspot on my phone, it connected just fine and had no issues. I disconnected and attempted again to connect to my wifi and again it failed.

It isnt a service issue, as it will not even assign an IP to the device from my network. It acts as if the password entered is wrong, but it clearly isnt.

If a service issue with xbox servers can affect that, then that brings up a can of worms about a lot of things

If it is only the WiFi then what exactly is the problem?

When you look for the network are you able to select it then enter the login information? If possible try connecting a network cable direct to the modem/router.
