I can't connect to my friend's multiplayer minecraft game

Whenever i try to join his game it says 'unable to connect to world'. We were playing on his world just fine yesterday, it was only today that it occurred. I've tried everything from testing both of our NAT type connections (we are both open), restarting
our consoles, changing the game settings to 'friends'. You name it I've tried it. It may be a problem on both ends as he cannot join my worlds too, we're both really gutted that we can't play together anymore.

Any solutions? Please help.

Ok then. Then it could be an issue with your friends router.

Hi, This is only a problem with my friend's world. I can join other servers (such as the featured servers) just fine. Thanks for your help!

Nope, when i tested the NAT connection it said 'NAT type: Open'.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Sorry to hear that you are unable to join your friends world. Is this issue specific to just one other player, or can you not join anybody at all?

If you haven't already, try removing your profile from the Xbox and then redownloading it. Are you playing on an Xbox one? If so, this link can help out with that : How

Have your friend do the same thing before trying to join each others worlds again.

Please make sure that you know your email and password before removing your account.

Nice job checking your NAT type , when you check it d you see either of the following error states below your NAT Type?

Double NAT detected
UPnP Not successful
