I can't connect to a friend game

Me and my friend can't conect with each other games, the only way to play together is to someone else to invite us, we always played before but suddendly we can't conect with each other game. we both have open NAT and ports forwarded

I'm having this issue too, with a few of my friends, we cant seem to ever get connected on xbox live. We tried starting different parties, starting chat rooms, but nothing seems to work!! Any advice?

 

I would suggest that BOTH of you try this and see if problem goes away.....

go into settings and accounts and remove all the profiles , (make sure you have the email and password to get them back ) after you remove the profiles , shut the xbox down by holding the xbox logo on the console for 8 seconds till it powers down , while
it is off , unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds to clear them also , plug the modem and router back up and when they are online , turn the xbox back on , when it is all the way up , re add your main profile ...it may sit there and sync a little while
but all SHOULD be good afterwards ...

Every time I want to join a friends game or vice-versa we simply cannot. Both our wireless and multiplayer connections are good, we have reset our routers and hard reset our boxes and still we cannot join the game. The funny thing is this happens to be a
reoccuring issue. I'm hard resetting my Xbox one atleast once a week and to be honest; it's not only for the networking purposes - it's for everything! This isn't the first time I've had to rant on one of these forums. And every time I meet a person who owns
an Xbox one I am shocked to find that they too think the Xbox one is [Mod Removed]. I perplexed to say the least that is supposed to be next gen but it's predecessor, the 360 seemed to far more reliable for game and network connecting. What
[Mod Removed] are you guys doing up at microsoft, you need to get some new hamsters to run on those treadwheels because I myself along with many other x1 users are so tired of owning an almost obsolete console as all it does is play games and
find new errors for me to become increasingly [Mod Removed] at. I set up my Sega megadrive the other day and that had better connection status and that is 20+ years old. It even made me coffee and this 'next gen' x1 can't even connect me to
a friend's game when all networks are running smoothly. As soon as I am able to I play to make the switch to PlayStation as I'm sick
[Mod Removed] of this relic of convention failing to meet my demands. Its shocking. You got lazy Microsoft and you relied to much of your name and the success and popularity of the 360. I am irked but I am not the only one.
