I can’t connect my Bluetooth controller to my IOS device

hello, I know many people also have this problem so I will just put it out their that the blue tooth is very dodgy. I have tried at least 5 different ways to get my controller to my IPad Air 2. My controller is the regular white controller that comes with
the XB1 S that, from every site/ video I have looked at is meant to be compatible, but they just won’t seem to connect. I have looked at so many sites / videos and done every thing right as far as I know. I have made it open to blue tooth (by holding that
button on the top with 3 lines) and gone in to the blue tooth section in settings and waited SOOOOOO long but it will not appear in the area. Can someone plz help me?

My controller can't connect by via bluetooth on to my Computer.

I have a Bluetooth Xbox One Controller. I followed the steps provided to connect the controller to my Laptop. I turned on my Bluetooth clicked the "Add Bluetooth or other devices" then clicked the Xbox Controller or the other option. The controller is on
and I wasn't able to see it so I can connect to it. I tried the Bluetooth option but the controller appeared as an unknown device and I wasn't able to connect when I clicked it either. I also tried downloading Xbox Accessories but for some reason it's not
downloading and is stuck in "Starting Download" state forever, I'm getting frustrated and angry in trying to connect my Xbox One controller to my PC. Please help.

Hi, so according to my example, you suggest to disconnect the Bluetooth of my iPad? I’ve tried but the issue is that when I turn on the controller it will try to connect to the last device (iPad), I can’t find a way to force the controller to connect to a device different from the last one

I got it to connect to my ipad Pro 11 IOS 13.2. But it is having trouble staying connected. For newer bluetooth devices Apple put the pairing under the Switch Control menu.

To get it connected go into Settings, Accessibility, Switch Control, Bluetooth Devices. Then put the Xbox One Elite Series 2 into pairing mode and it should show up here. It takes a good couple minutes to finish pairing for some reason. I had it connected
the first time and it was good but now its disconnecting and reconnecting a bunch. Not sure why. FYI, this is also where you can connect bluetooth mice to use it with a virtual desktop app.

The issue isn’t the steps required to connect to bluetooth, I already know how to do that. The issue is these steps aren’t having the intended effect. The Elite Series 2 controllers seem to be having a specific problem connecting yo iOS devices. I’ve tried
to connect to my mac, iPhone, iPad, and apple TV with no luck on either.

I can’t connect my Bluetooth controller to my IOS device
