A fix

How do you change the location. I have logged into the parent account and gone into my profile but I can't see anything to do with a location field.

Redeeming code can't redeem because of local currency

I recently purchased £15 from the Game store in the UK, but I live in Ireland. I tried to redeem the code online but it keeps saying
"This code cannot be used with the currency in your billing account. To use the code, change the location associated with your billing account in Settings."

Can you please tell me how to fix this, and how to change my location to do this. I searched for settings, but I can't find it.

Please reply ASAP.

Update Microsoft account if Moving to a New Country or Region

Please be aware you cannot change your region again for another 3 months. Also make sure the region you swapping to supports all the services, otherwise you could end up loosing some services and features.

How can I change that? I went into my account details, but was unable to change my country/location. (Country/Regiopn option was bold and unchangeable)

Advice was go update location (city, country) information on my account and my sons. Problem is I can do my own location update but I can't do my sons as it bounces back to me for a re-authorisation each time I go into my sons account. Seems like a change
has forced a deadlock condition, very irritating. Was obvious from my call that people don't ask for refunds when they have problems.

The movies do show up, they did before i migrated the xbox live account to thailand (it was US previously) and they do now after migrating it to Thailand, the Xbox itself is set to the US.

No matter how I switch it around, it won't work:

US account - US settings in console -> doesn't work - you can't stream outside the country that your xbox live account is set to.

Thailand account - US settings in console -> doesn't work, your xbox live location settings do not match the console settings - can't change console location settings, no thailand in the location settings selectable.
