    I can't change my gamertag to anything with Bi in it


    I tried to change my gamertag last night to "Bi Sea Hawk" but I
    discovered that it won't let me. And doing a little testing, I found any
    gamertag with "Bi" at the start, end, or surrounded by spaces is not
    allowed by the gamertag system. "BiSeaHawk" seemed to be fine, but I
    would prefer "Bi Sea Hawk" Is this intentional? "Gay Sea Hawk" seemed to
    also be fine.
    I can understand why certain words or phrases are
    banned from gamertags, but I have seen multiple articles written in 2010
    about Microsoft allowing sexual orientation in gamertags. I don't see
    how "BiSeaHawk" is any different to "Bi Sea Hawk" or how "Bi Ashetaka"
    is bad. I have tried many combinations and "Bi" is the one factor that
    will not allow me to change my gamertag.

    My Gamer tag was forced changed.

    Then I can't even change my gamertag to anything else unless i pay more money to change it to something different. this is ridicculous not only they forced change my gamertag I'm stuck with this gamertag. Honestly if it was so much of a problem when i created
    this gamer tag it shouldn't have been approved when I submitted it.

    Hey there Zen! Unfortunately we can't do anything to help you change your Gamertag here on the Forums. My only suggestion would be to pay to change the GT to something else and then pay to change it back. I hope that helps, thanks!
