I cant buy xbox 360 games on my xbox one

When I try to purchase a game on Xbox One this message comes up "sorry your account is unable to make this type of purchase on xbox.com. please complete this transaction from your Xbox." I no longer have a Xbox 360, but I have purchased games before(Skate3)
on the same Xbox one but a different account can this be resolved in anyway please all the help would be appreciated!

This has been the case on this account since I first purchased the Xbox.

Are you on a child account? Child accounts can only make 360 purchases on a 360 console due to restrictions.

I made the mistake of making my account the child instead of my siblings who is actually younger then me this wasnt a problem until backwards compatibility i was over the age of 18 when i got the xbox one and my brother was only 15 he was supposed to be
the child but i made a mix up at the begining is there anyway i could turn this back around and make me the adult as it would make it easier to purchase games as my brother got his own xbox now and i cant really use his account to purchase games for me

so i sold my 360 to buy Xb1, but now i cant remove my 360 profile from xbox live?

as it still picks me up as having a 360.. so i cant buy online games or apps?

But i have a few consoles x360 and i wanna buy game on xbox 360 bcse when i buy game on first conosle then i can play on other accounts without license moving on this first console and for second console i transfer license and the same game will be on 2 my consoles thats why i wanna buy on xbox 360 the game not on xbox one

well my 360 cd went down about 1 year i tryd to fix but its a no, just thinking of buying a new 360, i cant play the new games to fast for me why cant they make slow games for us older peeps lol i like all my call of duty games hate to give them up, were
