    It's not possible to purchase gold with currency on your account. Gold can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold card in a store.

    Bought GOLD for a year, now it's telling me I have to renew it after about 20 days of using it.

    I have this problem too. I just redeemed a 12 month xbox live gold but my xbox and the website isn't recognizing it. I can't download games with gold because it redirects me to a page where they tell me to buy a gold subscription
