i cant buy games because of a setting

Discus and support i cant buy games because of a setting in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; i am trying to buy minecraft but on my settings it says i can only buy items that are free and i dont know how to change that to make me able to buy...     i cant buy games because of a setting


    i am trying to buy minecraft but on my settings it says i can only buy items that are free and i dont know how to change that to make me able to buy them. i dont have a parental account so i cant use that to change my setttings please help!

    Cant buy Xbox Live because of Account Settings?

    Hello. I am unable to purchase a 59.99 Xbox Live membership because it says my account settings wont allow it. However, although I believe my account is a child account, my privacy and security settings are at Adult, so I should be able to make purchases.
    But it wont let me. I had a gold membership before, it just expired. How can I fix this?

    The parental account should be signed in to authorize the purchase. If you buy a card from your local gaming store (usually that's cheaper) then just press the guide button on the controller and scroll left. Then choose Redeem Code and put the code in
    there. You'll see the membership added immediately.

    Purchasing a membership card is usually the best and easiest option.

    If you have a child account that means that a parental account should be attached. They will have to authorize the purchase. Another option would be to have your parent buy you a Gold card from the store to add to your account.
