Select your "Other Products" and "Billing and payment updates" > Confirm.

Purchasing errors can be caused by issues on the account itself. Be sure to check if your billing information is correct at
http://billing.microsoft.com and also check
http://account.microsoft.com/services for any outstanding amount issues, these need to be sorted prior to being able to do a Purchase.

After that try to purchase the item on both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcode Also check that the Xbox Live account , the console and payment option all match region wise, using different regions for any of them cause issues too. If you can't find
anything wrong and it is still not working, best thing to do is to contact official Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat at
http://support.xbox.com/contact-us they can do a more indepth look into this issue.

Sorry to hear about the purchasing problems. Are you perhaps on a child account? That could be the cause of the issue. Are you able to obtain the games on xbox.com or on an Xbox 360 console? If you can, please try to get the error code and error message.

- May I ask which Xbox model you are using? Please note that games can no longer be purchased on an Xbox 360 console since the Xbox 360 store and marketplace were retired in July 2024.

- What happens when you try to purchase a game? Do you receive any error codes or messages?

- Have you tried buying games through the Xbox website ( https://www.xbox.com/ ) instead? If so, does it result in the same error?
