Discus and support I can't buy a game due to PUR-RiskRejected-CrossRegion in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have configured my XBOX ONE S console to region US.     I can't buy a game due to PUR-RiskRejected-CrossRegion


    I have configured my XBOX ONE S console to region US. The region for payment method is also US. Using the same Microsoft Account, the same console and the same payment method I have both games in February from XBOX ONE Store. Now, when I'm trying to buy
    a game I'm getting this error message:

    Try a different way to pay

    The region for your payment method and your Windows region don't match. The simplest way to fix it is to use a payment method from your Windows region. Or, change your Windows region. Go to Settings > Time & language > Region & Language. Note: If you change
    your Windows region, your previous digital purchases may not work.

    Why? Everything is the same as it was in February when I bought games. Nothing has changed.

    Sorry to hear it. If you live in Singapore but your tag is set for a different country then that is what could be causing the issue.

    Your billing,account & actual location must be the same or you will run into issues.

    Do you actually live in the U.S. ?

    No, I do not actually live in the U.S. But I use for billing purposes a US postal address.

    Doesnt matter you need to be physically in the us

    Or use your actual location unless you don't live in an Xbox Live region

    For the best experience with live your account region must reflect your actual region

    Especially for Xbox 360 games

    US foreign bases use a foreign IP due to using a local internet connection

    Only Xbox one Games are region free so if it's the games with gold 360 games you are trying to get it won't work

    As mentioned above the requirements are your account region matches your actual region

    If you are using fake billing info that doesn't work either even on paypal

    No, I do not actually live in the U.S. But I use for billing purposes a US postal address.

    Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally understand how this could be pretty peculiar. This kind of error is something that cold be resulting from some kind of electronic payment discrepancy. The best
    thing to do at this time would be for you to go ahead and contact
    customer support     at your earliest convenience.
