    I can't assess my Xbox 360 account to cancel my Gold subscription nor contact staff


    So I've been trying to cancel my subscription, but I am unable to access the options through my account. I went to the Contact Us page, however that likewise didn't work- whenever I tried clicking on subtopics within the Billing Help, the load icon would
    show up and then nothing would happen which meant I couldn't even contact staff to stop the automatically payments.

    Instead I was automatically charged $80 for another year-long Gold subscription today despite the fact I did not want it and do not play my Xbox anymore and was trying to cancel it.

    Is there anyway I can cancel this, since I do no want it and tried to stop it but the site prevented me from doing it? I don't want to be charged $80 for a service I don't use because they couldn't fix their site issues.

    How to Turn off auto renewal or cancel Xbox LIVE membership

    How to turn off auto renewal

    It is recommended that you cancel your Xbox LIVE Gold Membership using the option of turning off automatic renewal. If auto renewal is "off", your membership will expire at the end of its current term.

    Steps to follow:

    1) If you are not already signed in, click Sign In at the upper right hand corner and sign in using your Microsoft account.

    2) Proceed to My Account.

    3) Click Change next to automatic renewal. Change the setting to OFF

    You will be able to continue enjoying all the benefits of Xbox LIVE Gold Membership until your paid membership time expires.

    Note:

    If you want to cancel or disable your Xbox LIVE Gold Membership immediately, you should contact Xbox support. Use the Request a Call from Support option on the official Xbox Contact Us page. Your account cannot be canceled through chat or email.

    If you disable your account immediately, you will lose the time remaining on your membership subscription.

    If you are on a 2 Year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract, and you want to cancel before the end of the 2 years, you will be charged an Early Termination Fee and other applicable taxes. Once the two-year agreement period is over, your account will not be renewed automatically.

    You can cancel the 2 Year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract using the option of self-cancel your subscription on Xbox.com

    I was unable to use that phonenumber- it says it's unrecognized as one. Do I need to have specific numbers in front of it for me to use, since I'm in New Zealand?

    It won't even let me cancel it through my account since I swapped my security from an old email from a year ago to my phone and now all it says it "We're not ready for you" and says I need to wait a month before I can do anything through that.

    This is completely ridiculous! I'm pretty much trapped with a $80 fee for a service I don't use anymore!

    I've tried that numerous times- I can get as far 'Step 1: what type of issue are you having?" and whenever I try to click a further option the loading circle shows for a second, vanishes and then no other steps show up. I have no idea what to do since I
    have no means of contacting Staff.
