I can't afford these 2GB updates! Is there a way to play Live without updating One?

I had to move and I no longer have Fios. My only option to play Titan Fall is to tether through my IPad. Works fine except AT&T charges $50 for 5GB and has no better plans. The One keeps wanting to do updates that are around 2GB every other week. Is there
a way I can skip the update and play Titan Fall?

Play any game without it updating

Hi, I just received my Xbox One S and it came with 2 games. Neither will play without first updating. I live in a rural area with only cellular internet. I can not afford to download a 50 gb update! This is ridiculous that Microsoft would include a game
on DVD that is useless! I don't need to play online with others. I just want to play the games!! They obviously worked or the game companies would not have released them in the first place.

How can I play the games without them insisting on updating? Neither will play "offline" either.

New update won't download

Can't connect to xbox live without the update and everytime I try to update it fails.

I've tried updating with a usb but it says the same thing that it can't process the update.

I have a xbox 360s with 4gb hardrive. I have internal memory so I can't remove hard drive like other suggestions say. In my storage it shows my memory with 2gb free. I am connected to wired network, I have cleared cache and previous update errors, I've tried
restarting my xbox and router. Nothing works.

As Titanfall is an online only game, its imperative that all players are using the same version.

 

I'm not talking about the Titan Fall patches and DLC. It's the Xbox One system updates I have a problem with. 2GB every other week will have our hard drives filled with no room for games.

They haven't even made any useful changes with the updates. Give me a volume controls for the stupid eject button ding that wakes every one up when I press it. Give me my Avatars that I paid for back. I don't care about making parties with kids that are
to young to be playing these games. I just want to shoot people not have to pay $300 a month to do it!

 

The system updates are needed to continually improve the experience for everyone. The amount of improvements the system updates have provided are staggering and are making the system better than ever. Please look at

support.xbox.com/.../system-update-operating-system and tell me these are not useful in any way.

I highly recommend you to look into the available ISP's in your area to see if there is any better options so that you can enjoy your console to the fullest. You cannot expect to be able to play fully online games with a data cap that, even when using mobile
apps, is nearly laughably small.
