I can't add my sons profile to my family it says that the profile is already connected to another family but when i go in to his profile there is a name at family but he dont know who he is, how does he leave the family so i can add him to my family( i have
reset my xbox to factory but i won't work)

How many profiles in a family?

How many profiles can be in my family? I just bought another Xbox one to use as s Ark server. I was wondering if I could make a new profile and add it to my family, so I can install ark on it for free. O already have one other profile in my family. The Xbox
one is classified as my home Xbox, not my S that I have.

Sorry, I didn't know where else to put this.

Basically, I am trying to add my son to my family on the Xbox One and it says he is already part of another family (which is not true). Is there anything I can do? Help is needed ASAP (

Hi NoPea Assaulter!

It sounds like your son's account may have been set up with a different parent account. Are there any other accounts on the console that your son may have used as his account's parent account? Your son would have needed to access that account in order to
accept the ToU, so he may have more insight on the account used.

if you're wanting to move his account to another parent account you would need to reach out to

Phone/Chat support. They may have other options for you, although we aren't able to speculate on that.

I have already done this without success.

Xbox 1

= Son 1 Xbox and set to Home Xbox

= My profile is on here as well as Son 1s profile

Xbox 2

= Son 2 Xbox

= My profile is on here as well as Son 2s profile.

Son 1 plays on xbox 1 on his profile and game says you must log in to the account that downloaded the game.

So he logs into my account....Games work

Son 2 plays on xbox 2 on his profile says you must log in to account that downloaded the game.

Log into my account, games work for son 2, but son 1 Now can't play the games

Ok, bear with me, this is the first time I've ever touched an Xbox, so I just went to the primary machine and singed in as me. Then followed the steps through and tried to add his profile to my family group and same error as before.

I can't find anything that says recover, though my son tells me it used to be an option.

Will deleting the profile lose your saved games on the console? I'm having the same issue. My family membership expired. When I renewed the membership, I can log on my Xbox with Live gold. Button son can't log in on the other Xbox. His profile is one of
the profiles on my family gold account...

I have tried this one already. The problem is that in step 5, I can't sign out of my profile because there aren't any to sign into. And I can't add any because I need to be connected to Xbox Live to add a profile, which is the main problem altogether.
