I can't add my home console to my microsoft account

i tried resetting and now when i try to add my microsoft account, i get an error that's telling me the xbox can't connect to my home network... this is annoying.

I forgot to add that I did try unassigning my old console as the "Home Xbox" as well when I was able to access my preferences for the account. But now that I can't log on, I can't change any preferences.

Me and my friend got set our accounts as home consoles for some time(it all worked well). The error appeard when i deleted his account on my xbox as home console and wanted to change for anothers friend account.Now I can't set any account on my xbox as
home console and my friend can't delete my account from home console on his xbox . Messed up

I would suggest running the Game Pass Ultimate subscription on your daughter's Microsoft account. Then sign in with her account on your Xbox and set it as the home console with her account. This way you both get the benefits of the subscription (with the exception of Cloud Gaming for your account) without having to pay twice.

To set a home console open the Settings app and head to General > Personalization > My Home Console > Make This My Home Console.

After that you can also remove her account from your console in Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. If you believe that another individual is using your son's Xbox profile, it would be best to update or change the password to the account in order to prevent any further entry into it. You can also
check the Xbox console itself to see if the other person's profile is listed as being on the console and remove it.

You may wish to also ask your child if he has provided any friends/other persons with his account information and/or made his account the Home Console account on any other console's outside of the home. If he has, you can adjust the home console status by
making the profile the home console profile for his own console to remove its designation from any other Xbox One console.
