I cant add friends on minecraft windows 10 edition

Thanks for your reply, but it is still unclear to me what exactly i need to do.

The child accaount that i should add, do i do it with my own email or another.

And i also have trouble finding the Xbox Live Profile settings.

If you're reading this you have likely found that the Online safety settings need to be set by the parent.

Those settings can be set at:

https://account.xbox.com/en-us/settings?gamertag=TimelyRug424525&activetab=main:privilegetab

Then Go to Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety and enable multiplayer and friends.

We are having the same issue. I tried clicking on the link you provided here but it doesn't appear I am getting the same page/info as you have showed in your pic. I don't get the options for Xbox One, Xbox 360 - my page only shows the following.
