I cant add a new account to my xbox one x

i have 14 days free membership due to my new x box one s. The free games for xbox one i could add for free without problems. Only this game i cant add to my account.

I would also ask you try doing a full power cycle on your console, like you have before, but while it's powered down, also power cycle your router. I've seen a few times where it's a network issue in connecting to the authentication servers (assumed) causing
the issue.

I'd also say if you can log into the Microsoft Account page, check under Devices to see if the console is in that list. Is this the first time you're adding that account to this device?

Thank you for the update. It sounds like it could be network related if you have already power cycled and factory reset the Xbox and you still cannot add new accounts.

When you factory reset your Xbox, you add your account as part of the reset process because all accounts are removed from the Xbox during a factory reset, therefore you need to add an account to get the data synced back to the console. What error did you
get when trying to add your account during the reset process?

Go into the console's network settings and test the connection and multiplayer connection. Make sure that both tests have no issues and let us know the results.
