    I can't activate my Minecraft key in my Microsoft account!


    I bought Minecraft in 2013 and now I tried to activacte the key for Windows 10 from my Mojang account, but appears that the code has already been activacted and I never used this code. I would like to know what can I do to solve this problem?

    ps: I use the same email in my Mojang and Microsoft account.

    There are a lot of possible reasons why you are experiencing this kind of issue. One of which is if there's any pending balance on your account. To better help you with your concern, we suggest that you check out this

    I can't activate my key

    I bought a 3 Months xbox live gold prepaid card from G2A.com,When i received the key i just try to put it in the section "Reedem code" on the microsoft account.When i click Reedem it says me: Something doesn't work,please try again later. I can't activate my Minecraft key in my Microsoft account! :(

    The code you receive from Mojang will be kept on your account, in case you’re unable to redeem it straight away, or in case you have problems trying to redeem it in Microsoft Store.

    If you receive a message stating that your code has already been redeemed:

    • Check any other accounts you use on your Windows 10 device, and see if they have the option to install Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition.
    • If that account can install the game, you’ll need to use that account to play your free copy of Minecraft.

    2 xbox accounts, 1 microsoft account

    It doesn't show as redeemed, but I can give you the activation key and what time I redeemed the code.

    I logged into my microsoft account, but it prompted me to make an xbox account which I did. Now, I think the minecraft activation code is now binded to the xbox account that it prompted me to make.

    I know I'm sounding so dumb, but that is what happened. Please Help me.

    Edit: It shows I haven't made a purchase for the last 3 months.

    Edit: I actually logged into my mom's account and redeemed the activation key there. Thanks for entertaining my stupid question, Sorry for the inconvenience

    No that is not the problem the person who has used my gift key is not me i have no hands on that account.

    Something went wrong with microsoft's key protection and someone else got their dirty hands on my key.

    That is the problem... Why cant microsoft delete a minecraft gift key on the other persons account?

    I am playing the Java edition on PC, but also tried the Minecraft for Windows edition. Both say I have no active Realms subscriptions.
