I can't access my Xbox Accessories app

Discus and support I can't access my Xbox Accessories app in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; My D-pad on my controller won't work with my PC, I tried to use the Xbox Accessories app to update it and to change the controls back to normal, but...     I can't access my Xbox Accessories app


    My D-pad on my controller won't work with my PC, I tried to use the Xbox Accessories app to update it and to change the controls back to normal, but every time I load up the app it's only active for a split second before instantly closing. I'm not sure if the app is broken and needs another update to fix it or if my PC just hates me at the moment, but no matter if I uninstall, refresh or restart my pc or even do all at once it still won't work, I've done it a few times and still nothing! is there another app or a way to get around this problem?
