I can't access my security settings to change my email alias!

The best way is to change the email that use by going to account.live.com like MaximumExtreme said, but there is a little more tips you should follow. Once your signed in, left hand side you see an options that says "alias". To access this section, you have
to send you self a security code to access that information. After that, add a new alias (email address that you've never used for Microsoft before and that you can access), then verify the email, then make it the primary alias. The website will tell you
if it can't use the email address you'd prefer.

Actually, that can only be possible if you still have access to the primary email because it will need to be verified first before you can change the alias. So if you still have access to the primary email, you can always change that to a different alias but if not, you cannot change that anymore and rely on your security proofs for recovery access.

What I did when I lost access to my email was go to
account.live.com/summarypage.aspx and login with my information and then add an alias to my account. Set your new alias as your primary alias and that will work tue same as changing your email address. I do believe it takes 30 days for the switch over but
during that time you will be able to use your new email to login

I want to add an alias to my account but I cannot because I have a this warning: "For security reasons, you need to verify your primary alias before you can add another alias." How can I add an alias if I cannot verify my primary address? I no longer have
access to my primary email address as it no longer exists.

Yes i've already requested to change my security information in 30 days, but i see that theres an option that lets me cancel the request. Could the hacker use this as an advantage to regain access to my account since he could just cancel the request and then change my password?

Also, I am being blocked from changing the primary alias since it requires access to an unknown email address.

I want to know is there anyway to make this security info reset obsolete and impossible to cancel
