I can't access my resolution setting

My TV screen was flickering while I playing on xobx one s so I tried to change the resolution but wheneverI press on resolution my tv screen went blank and it became normal when I pressed B on my controller i still can not fix it

Certain TVs don't support different resolution settings my tv has the same problem

This will reset your resolution settings. After that you can try and change it from settings.

First, totally power down your Xbox One by holding the power button on the console for 5-10 seconds. Don’t just tap it; hold the button down.
Next, turn it back on by holding both the disc eject and power buttons for a good 10-20 seconds. This bit is key: don’t release the buttons when you see the Xbox One light come on; instead, continue holding the buttons until you hear
a second chime. Also, just keep an eye on your TV screen/monitor — hold those buttons down until you see the green Xbox One start screen.

power cycle of the console to see if that helps. If you continue to see issues, you may need to preform a
