I can't access Minecraft on my Xbox.

I last played Minecraft on my Xbox in November 2022. When I open the game to play today, it said that it needed an update, so I installed the update, yet the update never installed. I've been waiting for two hours for this update to install. Since it didn't install, I tried updating Minecraft Dungeons, which updated instantly. I checked my internet connection, and it was working fine. Afterwards, I decided to try inserting my Minecraft Xbox One edition disc into the console, and when I went to run it, my xbox said it couldn't read the disc, even though the disc and no scratches and was completely clean. The only issue I am having is with the actually game, Minecraft. Could you please guide me to what I am supposed to do now?

They shouldn't be allowed to let me buy a product which I can't Access. I bought Minecraft with my Microsoft Account. Now it's suddenly connected to XBOX live and I can't access it.

It didn't work. I followed your steps but the game still doesn't recognise my new alias.

I got an error message at the bottom of the launcher saying "Oh no! Something went wrong and we couldn't connect to the Minecraft services."

I clicked "Try Again" and it didn't work.

Got it! Have you tried reinstalling the game? You can also check your phone, open the Settings app. Tap Privacy. Permission manager. Make sure that Minecraft permission is set to allow.

If you have added a new alias to your Microsoft account and deleted the old one, you only need to use the new alias on the launcher, try uninstalling the launcher, log out the Xbox app and Microsoft store app, then restart the Pc and log back on both apps before reinstalling the launcher
