I can't access a microsoft account that has Minecraft purchased on it

I purchased Minecraft Java Edition on a microsoft account I made a while ago.

Later, I am trying to access it and after inputting the correct password, I get asked for a phone number that I don't have access to anymore, because I moved to a different country and was forced to change.

After submitting the request form, I was told that it wasn't enough information.

So can I get a refund for my almost 30 dollar purchase that microsoft basically stole from me? Or can I regain access to my account.

We in the community and not even a Microsoft agent/employee can help you recover your account. And to request a refund you would need access to your account and most purchases do not qualify for a refund after 14 days.

If you are unable to retrieve your account you will have to purchase the content again for that account.

So you're telling me that I have to purchase another minecraft license to be able to play it legally?

Ok, so as it turns out, Minecraft for Windows was bought on a different Microsoft account but everything on Minecraft is linked to the account that can't buy it. Is there a way to link the purchases between the two? Because when opening it with the launcher it will not allow access because I have a different account logged in on the Microsoft store.

I migrated my Minecraft Mojang account to a Microsoft one and I can't find out which Microsoft account it was. I have my transaction ID from purchasing the game. Is there a way to know which Microsoft account has my copy of Minecraft?

The only real way would be to login to every single Microsoft account you have and see which one has your Minecraft game on it.
