How do I get the ip address to my xbox without using it I recently broke the hdmi port on my xbox and I am trying to connect it to my laptop.

Have you checked the devices connected to your modem or router through the user interface. There should be a place where it lists all devices connected to your network. Also might have to click on show hidden or, not in use devices.

Are you trying to Stream your console through the Xbox Companion app?
