    Hello! ,

    I bought my xbox 360 while living in the UK, but I have moved over to Greece during the last 3 years. I had some issues being able to download certain demos and trials, having an error type having to do with my region. Last month I upgraded to xbox live
    and while trying to download the Burnout game that was offered as free, I got the same type of error regarding my region. I searched in the xbox 360 forums and found the way that you can change your locale but this area in setting tabs it is gray for me ,
    probably unavailable.

    I then tried to follow the instructions on how to manage your payment options in order to connect my debit card - MasterCard that I have from the Greek Bank, but I have the following message when I update my correct details.

    ''The postal code you entered doesn't match your city and state or locale. Please enter a valid postal code for your city and state or locale'' .

    How can this be true?

    I want to mention that I stay in a village in Greece that does not have street names, due to its architecture and I input both address and city the same details, the name of the village, as I do in all the applications, both in the bank and the rest of the
    official documents. How can I solve this problem?

    Billing account locked?

    I recently added my debit card to my Xbox LIVE gamertag, and got rid of my mom's credit card. I went to add 400 MS points, and i got an error message saying that my Xbox LIVE billing account has been locked from making purchases. Is there anyway to unlock
    this? I thought changing my payment option from my mom's credit card to my own debit card would have been enough, but apparently not. I had no trouble adding my debit card or switching my payment option to my debit card, and I know I have enough money in the
    debit card to buy 400 MS points, and yet I am still locked from making purchases. Help?

    I was trying to add a debit card to my a/c, but failed to do so, and got n error message.."Please enter a valid credit card number.".

    Tried many times, but got d same error again n again..Please help..

    If you're wanting to change your Xbox Live profile account region to match your new physical location (Greece) then you'll want to
    migrate your account. Once you do that, you should be able to update your
    Microsoft Commerce account to reflect your correct address and postal code. If you still run into errors, you'll want to reach out to

    phone support     for further assistance with your account.

    LOCKED - debit cards

    If you debit card has a Visa or Mastercard logo it will work. I use my debit card on my account. I do believe that with the updates rolling out they are going to start allowing people to use paypal to buy gold memberships, currently you can only use paypal
    to buy Microsoft points.

    Other than that you will need to go to your local retailer and buy the prepaid membership cards.

    taidara - I connected the console directly to my modem, and the update still did not process. I got the same error message. Don't you think that with all this, and the fact that I cannot even update with a usb, that the problem is with the update itself?
