    I can’t speak in xbox parties using my mic nor can I talk in parties using the xbox app. I’ve also tried using alternate accounts and it still will not work.

    Did your Xbox Live Gold subscription run out? If not maybe you have been communication banned.

    Hello Shae,

    Please be sure you've checked your privacy settings and have it set to "allow communication with everyone" (located under: Profile and System > Settings > Account > Privacy & Online Safety > Xbox Live Privacy > View details
    and customize > Communication & multiplayer).

    The two key settings here is: (1) Other can communicate with voice, text or invites and (2) you can communicate outside of xbox live with voice & text. If your settings look good, and your mic can connect to your pc or phone, I would try to test it out to
    see if it's the problem.
