I cannot start an online session on Resident evil 5 on my xbox one S.

Unfortunately, when I first bought the game on the store, I got the bad surprise that my game would crash whenever I tried to create a game woth online activated. I do currently have xbox live gold, and it does still crashes my game. I've read some articles
about it on this website and nothing was working.

On a side note, which is good, I am able to join my friends whenever they create the lobby, which does allow me to play online, but, only with friends, and if they are willing to start it. Although only if my friend invites me via xbox invites, else, I cannot
join a random match or custom match.

But mainly, as said before, I've tried every solution, even bought a physical version of the game, although, the only thing I didn't try,is erasing my save file, I do not wamt to have to resort to this end, but, if it is the last way to test it out, I will
try.

If anyone can help me fix this issue, please let me know. And, for those having the exact same issue do not be affraid to keep the thread going if solutions goven here doesn't work.
