Discus and support i cannot send messages in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; im having difficulty trying to send messages too friend i have tryed everything technical support couldnt help me i was refferred here instead it...     im having difficulty trying to send messages too friend i have tryed everything technical support couldnt help me i was refferred here instead it breaks my heart i have spent so much money for the console and accessories over a thousound dollars not incuding
    all my add ons im unable to share the same experience that my friends are having i can hear them im just unable to communicate with them im getting confused as to why its happend ive been to support and enforcements site and both checkout im a regular player
    with very little negative feedback from other players i dont want to spend more money on a new controller and headphones and headphone jack/port only to find out that that aint the problem its all to overwhelming so please HELP ME i just want it fixed

    This is a picture of my Rep in case this is needed. I'm not sure when my account lost the ability to send messages, but I do know it's been like this for at least 2 weeks. There seems to be no cause, is there something that can be done?

    I cant send messages. From the xbox i get a message telling me to go to: support.xbox.com/fix-messaging which redirects to this page: Why Can’t I Send Messages from Xbox One or Xbox App?

    I have followed all steps on the redirect link above, which included adding/updating your phone number and signing in and out on the console. Also, the enforcement page says I have a 'perfect' record, and that i've received no negative feedback.

    Trying to send a message via xbox.com says "because of your past behavior you cannot send messages".

    Clearly this is in error, as my husband and I are the only two who use the console, we're both middle aged gamers with no interest in online drama. Typical messages sent from my account consist of the occasional 'gg' to a random player or to other real world
    friends. So.. again, no history of bad behavior, no unauthorized log ins and no 'bad' messages have been sent.

    So why cant I send messages?

    i cannot send messages

    i have the same problem it all starterd 2 months ago before the latest update. when i had the xbox one prewiew program i tryd everything then i deleted the xbox one preview program then it started working again then the **** update with the xbox clubs
    and **** came out and the problem started again. i strongly believe its a software problem with this update. i am simply out of options customer sopport cant do anything about anything . today the same update came out on android devices for the xbox
    app and no i cant even use the xbox app to send messsages to freinds . the same update with the clubs its the same **** update ther is no question about it. me and you share the same struggle . My patience is running low i dont know what to do should i
    contact the FCC and report microsoft for failing to provide me with a service wich i payd for, i boughtthe xbox and i bought the xbox live gold service 12 month card i should have access to all the features they promise. please spread the word about the

    my in game chat thats fine like on rocket league the in game chat is fine i can communicate thats fine my party chat is fine that works i can chat BUT if hit left on the d pad on the homescreen and click a friend scroll down to send message create a message
    send message now its here is where i get really annoyed its saying message failed to send now it redirects u too support site alrite support site redirects u to your in game microsoft email account wich is linked to your xbox one account so here u it saya
    u have to check yr security settings make the relevant changes and on your xbox restart it agen ive done this many times IT DOESNT FIX IT the technical support operator redirects u here right and its annoying rather then get a moderator u get other people
    with the same problem its not right as it stands i feel abandoned and tech support operator are unsure i cannot give postive feedback until its fixed so the question IS WHAT DO WE DO lol its so annoying i cant believe i woke up to this non sence a week ago
    and it still annoys me now it will for the duration of the time that the xbox sits on my t.v stand i so love playing tho it be more loved if i got to p.m friends without having to join a party i kinda regret buying this now given my brother has a PS4 and has

    To start things out, are you posting from the newly created account or is this a different account? Have you had a chance to check for Enforcement action over
    Enforcement.xbox.com?

    Cannot send message

    This can happen because of an incomplete account setup.

    Try going thought the following steps to update everything on the account.

    There's a lot of info here so read through the steps first.

    1) Start by going to your account here -
    https://account.microsoft.com/profile/


    2) Make sure there's a First and Last Name on the account

    3) The sign in email address that you used for the account, (don't post that info here) but if you used another email like a @gmail.com email address, make sure you completed the email address verification for the account

    4) Where it says Edit your personal info, click on that and update your info there

    5) Where is says Edit your billing info, click on that and update your info there

    6) Go here - https://account.microsoft.com/security

    - under Update your security info click on Update info

    - make sure you have a phone and email on your account so you have options to verify or recover your account (You stated you don't have a phone but you'll really want at least two email addresses there)

    7) After your account info is all up to date, remove the account from your Xbox console and hard reset it (press the power button down on the front of the Xbox One for 15 sec, then let it go and restart it)

    8) Then add your account back to your Xbox One and try to send a message again
