    I cannot redeem a code...


    I went on to renew my xbox live gold membership with a prepaid code, but when I type it there's an error popping out : Error : Xbos-0x80153048

    (god i shouldn't be helping you...supporting that team!. arrrggghhh I cannot redeem a code... :) )

    I had the same problem, which was really confusing for me to start with, I couldn't do anything online because the xbox one wanted me to accept updated terms and conditions to start with, when it did this I got a error which stopped me connecting to live, and although I could browse the web I couldn't get on the live service

    to get round this I went to the xbox live account on my pc and accepted them there - it then worked instantly.

    however from previous threads it seems like your already on live.

    So other people don't have the same issue as me today? I thought it would be XBL's fault because I have done this so many times before, and my internet is perfectly fine... :/

    This is an older thread. For future reference could you please create a new one detailing your issue?

    Codes for currency, gold, etc are usually 25 digits long. If there is an issue using the code you received then you should contact the place you received it from to let them know.

    If the code is not a 25 character code, then it cannot be redeemed on Xbox. You would need to redeem the code on the Fastcard website.

    Hello there,

    Once a code has been redeemed, it is used and cannot be redeemed again. These codes should not be sold as they have no value.
