    I cannot purchase a "add-on" for a game because the store is bugged saying I already own it...


    Hello, I attempted to buy a DLC for a game (farming simulator 22 to be specific) and I was unable to do so because the store thinks I already own the DLC. I never bought the DLC and I checked my purchase history and it doesn't come up. It lets me install the DLC like normal, but when I open the game to use it, it acts like I don't own it (which I don't to begin with).

    I bought the DLC as a "gift" and emailed it to myself and tried to use the code provided and didn't work either. This has also affected another DLC I bought many months ago and doesn't allow me to use it either. I have restarted my Xbox several times and removed my account and re-adding it to my Xbox.

    Lets try to power cycle the console to see if a bug of the same console

    Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button  on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

    Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button  on the console or the Xbox button  on your controller.

    Just want to figure out something are you buying the next upgrade or are you expecting it to upgrade automatically because you already have the first version of the game (e.g. Standard upgraded to deluxe)?

    If you are trying to purchase the upgrade and its not working then it might be that the "purchase content" is currently down, but if your expecting it to automatically upgrade then as far as I know that's not possible as they would be two different versions
    of the game set at different prices.

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble. If you've made the purchase for extra DLC try highlighting the game from your dashboard and press the Start button on the controller. From there select Manage Game then go to Ready to Install to see if there's extra
    content to download.

    If you are unable to download extra content or cannot access what you've purchased you'll need to call phone support for more assistance. The number for North America is 1-800-469-9269 or click this link http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    Minecraft: java and bedrock edition bundle doesn't let me install bedrock edition.

    So, I have found the reason why I cannot redeem the bundle, and that is because the account I own bedrock on, I initially bought the game through the Google Play Store in 2016, and back then it was Minecraft Pocket Edition, which then converted to a Microsoft Account when Bedrock was released. Because I didn't buy the game through the Microsoft Store on that account, the system doesn't recognise me as purchasing Bedrock Edition on the Microsoft store servers, and I am unable to redeem the promotion.

    I have already made it clear that the system needs to be updated to make bedrock versions bought from different stores consistent.
