I cannot play some games , my xbox one kicks me out

Hi,

I recently purchase RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 and GTA 5 , however i cannot play them , my console kicks me out when the games are launching .... Both games are stored on my external storage ( not sure if that make any difference) Tried power off, resetting , clearing cash...

I have ultimate games pass subscription.

It may mean that it’s indeed corrupted. You may reformat it first. This will delete all of your games but you can reinstall them later on.

If we can test it out with just one game that would be great in that way we can proceed with the necessary steps. If ever it will work once transferred to the Internal Storage we may need to reformat the external hard drive.

Ok. How i can reinstall them later? Will they be saved in my account?

thank you so much. Unfortunately i dont have enough space on the internal storage. Is there any way i can sort my external storage?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Thank you for letting me know that the games are stored on your External hard drive. It can be corrupted since you have performed all the necessary steps.

Kindly move the games to your Internal Storage and then perform a powercycle before re-launching the games. Kindly unplug the hard drive as well along the process.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.
