I cannot play on realms because of how my Microsoft account is set up.

Hi, I was playing normally when suddenly I was kicked out of the realm. I play on Xbox and all my setting are the same as they have always been. is there any fix to this?

My microsoft account is not a child account but it still has the same "error message" when I sign in with a child account. (I'm saying error message as in "you cannot play realms because of how your microsoft account
is set up")

I've been playing on my Realm for months now, but today, for no reason, i cannot log into live services. "You cannot play on Realms because of how your Microsoft Account is set up".

I've gone to the recommended Privacy and Online Safety section of Microsoft online. All the settings are FINE. I am not a child. I am 40 years old and have never been part of a family account setup. Yet I cannot change my account settings like I'm some child.
why?

Yea its probably just a bug or something or maybe you're settings

I did all these steps, multiple times just to be sure, and I am still receiving the message "cannot play online because of how my microsoft account is set up" when I try to join my friends' realm.

Just to confirm, are you able to change your privacy settings here?

If yes, everything is allowed?

If everything looks good there, try this in your console:
1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

After that, try to remove and re-add your profile on the console.

Also disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then connect it again an when everything is working, try again
