Discus and support I cannot play a game I own Series X in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I bought star wars the force unleashed and cant play it now, when i click it it says go to microsoft store to own rights ?     0x803f8001 Error Xbox Series S

    you cannot use disc based games on the series s, you need the disc in the drive to authenticate and prove you own the game. as the series s is all digital you would need the series x to play disc based games.

    Can both the XBox One X and Xbox One S play games for both the Series X and/or Series S?

    Xbox One games can be played on the Series S/X, but Series S/X games cannot be played on the One.

    The One version of the game can be played on a Series S/X. The Series S/X version cannot be played on a One.

    You cannot transfer purchased game discs to the Xbox Series S. If you own an Xbox Series S and want to play games that you own on disc, you'll need to purchase them again from the Microsoft Store. If you plan on playing disc games, you may want to get the Xbox Series X instead of the Xbox Series S, as it has a drive.
