I cannot login to Xbox and Xbox companion

Hi there,

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent issue I have been experiencing while attempting to play Forza Horizon 5 on my Windows 11 PC. I have purchased the game and installed it, but I am unable to access it due to a sign-in problem.

When I click on the FH5 icon on my desktop, I am redirected to the Xbox app. However, when I attempt to log in to Xbox Live through the app, I receive an error message stating that "we couldn't sign you in to Xbox Live". And " Something unexpected, happened reporting this problem will help us understand it better". As a result, I am unable to play the game even when attempting to play offline.

This situation is completely unacceptable, especially considering that I have paid for the Forza Horizon 5 game. I have been eagerly anticipating its release and was looking forward to enjoying the game on my PC. However, due to these issues, I am unable to do so.

Is your device connected to the internet? yes, it is.
Are there any Xbox status alerts? No.
Is your Xbox subscription up to date? Never heard about it, I only purchased Forza Horizon 5
Do you have any suspensions or other enforcement actions? No.
Did you recently change your password? No.

Thank you for your response. Did you manage to check the ports mentioned with your ISP?

After performing the troubleshooting steps, was there any changes?

Also make sure to set your privacy settings to play online

If you can't sign in to the Xbox network, here are a few things to check:

Is your device connected to the internet?
Are there any Xbox status alerts?
Is your Xbox subscription up to date?
Do you have any suspensions or other enforcement actions?
Did you recently change your password?

Contact your ISP and check if the listed ports below are open.

A network port lets your Xbox One console communicate with the Xbox Live servers and other Xbox One consoles over the Internet. These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work:

Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Port 500 (UDP)
Port 3544 (UDP)
Port 4500 (UDP)
