I cannot install gaming services for the life of me

this issue started a few days ago, i was having trouble with the Xbox app on my pc and it wouldn't let me install games, so naturally i scoured the internet for solutions which led me down this rabbit hole, "solution" after "solution" was slowly advancing the problem, it went from not being able to download or install games, to not being able to see my games, and then the "grand solution" which was the final step in almost every single fix was to uninstall and reinstall gaming services. so i followed the directions, and i did. except I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME REINSTALL GAMING SERVICES. every time i follow the steps to a new "fix" it always ends up with me clicking install or "get" on the gaming services page and then Microsoft store freezes and nothing happens. now the xbox app tells me to "install gaming services" and when i click download a bar at the bottom says "installing gaming services, this may take a few minutes" but i wait and i wait for hours and NOTHING HAPPENS, when i follow the steps for a solution online i put the commands in PowerShell, yada yada, end up on the page where im supposed to reinstall gaming services, i click install, and microsoft store just freezes and NOTHING HAPPENS, luckily some of my games still work and i can play them from my desktop, but some don't and of course i want to play them. please help, there's nothing i can do at this point. this seems to be a widespread issue currently, but no solution i find is for my exact issue, it seems gaming services is definitely having issues for other people too.

P.S. not seeing any error messages or anything, and im using windows 11. ive tried many solutions, most of which are basically the exact same thing... open Microsoft PowerShell, paste commands, reinstall gaming services... (which isnt working... but you already know that)

Ive been having this same issue for days now, except for mine didnt magically fix itself, and im getting hella frustrated. I have done all of the above options to fix this

I'm getting the same error but I don't have any external drives and my hard disk is formatted to NTFS

I tried disabling my Webroot antivirus for a while but the issue is still apparent

It appears that your third party antivirus is preventing you to play and install games in through your Xbox app. We recommend try disabling it for while and try playing and installing games through your Xbox app and see it works.
