I cannot get online!

There's a glitch with the backwards compatibility that trials on the xbox one don't count as gold on the 360 for some reason as its a trial and not officially a membership. You should post this in black ops 2 as more people will look there or ask the support
chat for help.

remove your account from your xbox and redownload the account

I am having the same problem I cannot get onto the servers. A few of my friends have managed to get online though so I think they managed to get online before they went down. They are having a few pop ups with checking stores but I cannot even get online.
Xbox Live Service Status has not had an update yet so I think it might just be temporary. Just wait out.

if you are getting cant connect to Rockstar cloud servers thats a common issue with GTA:O if you have been using mods in the game you could be banned from gta but you should keep trying it should work

try clearing the system cache by going to xbox dashboard>Setting>system>storage. and press Y on you'r controller and you will get up a menu asking if you want to clear device cache do that on all devices 3 timesand then try loading up gta

You have nothing to fear unless you modded your online game, then you might be banned from online play from Rockstar. Otherwise, GTA V's servers get overloaded quite frequently, and is a common problem and should fix itself soon. Give it time and keep trying!
