I cannot get my Xbox Live profile to work on my Xbox 360

I've recently received an Xbox 360 S from a friend who didn't need it anymore. I wanted to download my Xbox Live profile (which I previously used on Windows 10) but I cannot get it to work (at least online) on my 360. My Microsoft account was previously
set as a child account before I set it to an adult account by changing the birth date to an older one, so I don't know if this is part of the issue. Here are a few of the steps I went through to try and get my account working:

1. I remove my account from my family. I enter my email and password on my Xbox 360 to try and download my account.

2. I add my Xbox profile to my parent account. I can download my parent's account just fine. I try to download my account by account.

3. With my parent account downloaded I try to download my profile using my Microsoft account. It downloads fine, but when It tries to connect to Xbox Live, an error comes up.

Your parent's Microsoft account isn't valid. Your parent needs to choose a different account to manage your Xbox profile.

It gives me 2 options. One of them is "Play offline" which I don't want as I am planning to use Xbox Live to play with friends. The other is "Change Parent Microsoft Account". I choose that option and it sends me to a page. It reads:





The parent Microsoft account associated with this Xbox Live profile isn't valid. Choose another account.





Don't delete your profile. This process updates your current profile with your new Microsoft account.

So, by hearing "your email address", I enter my email address and password. I press continue, I read the Microsoft Services Agreement and Privacy Statement, And then another message pops up.

Sorry, child and parent account cannot use the same Microsoft account. Use different accounts instead.

I'm then brought back to the page saying "First, we need your email address...". So I figure that I need to enter my parent's Microsoft account. That didn't work either. So then, I thought it was asking me to enter a new Microsoft account. When I did this,
the next page came up with "setup your new Microsoft account." I thought I finally got it. I went through to set up this new account and when I was done and agreed to the Microsoft Services Agreement and Privacy Statement, a new message popped up.

The email address you entered can't be used to create a Microsoft account. Use an address from a different domain instead.

I was very confused. What does it mean by "different domain"?!

I am absolutely frustrated and tired! I spent the last 3 days trying to get this to work, tried suggested fixes (clearing system cache, creating different emails for parent accounts, etc.) and read dozens of forum posts but it still doesn't do anything to
fix this issue! All I want to do is use my Xbox Live profile on my Xbox 360 and it will not let me sign in to Xbox Live. Please, If anybody knows how I might be able to fix this issue, that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

can't connect to Xbox live

All my devices can connect to the internet, but I cannot connect to Xbox live on the xbox 360. I was told to delete my profile and redownload it. I tried that but it still doesn't work.

 

Error Code "80154058"

Whenever I try to download a xbox live profile or create a xbox live profile on my xbox 360 I get this error code : "80154058". I have tried multiple things to get this to work even formatting my hard drive and system memory (4gb) and nothing seems to work.
