I cannot enter my address on Microsoft Account site

I cannot do that since they changed the email address of the account and now when i try to recover it i get an error: The Microsoft account you've entered does not exist.

On Minecraft Legends, select Sign in with a Microsoft account.

On a different device, open your web browser and enter this site:

https://login.live.com/oauth20_remoteconnect.srf

Type in the code displayed in Minecraft and click Next.

Enter the email address for your Microsoft account and click Next.

Enter your password and click Sign in.

In reply to own age this is what I have tried about three times already, I complete this forum then I get an email saying "Thank you for your request. Your Microsoft account "account name"@btinternet.com was created using an email address from a provider
other than Microsoft. To reset your password for this account, follow these steps:

Click Here for the Microsoft account password reset page.

Select an option and click "Reset your password".

Enter your Microsoft Account, then enter the security characters, lastly click "Next".

On the following page, select "Email me a reset link" and then click "Next".

A reset link is now sent to your email address" But I cannot do this because we are no longer with bt so cannot see the emails that go to that address.

Soo Brad, I can enter in Microsoft Site with my Account, the problem is in Minecraft, but I'm enter in contact with Mojang thanks for answer!!

I went a dug up my college email and it is an outlook address. I tried the process again this time choosing 'I know my password, but can't sign in'. I entered the email address and the password, knowing both are valid because I logged into the email account
through the internet earlier. Microsoft produced a screen saying: 'Try entering your Microsoft account again. We don't recognize this one.' Then I Sign in at the bottom of the page and entered my account and password, producing a screen saying: 'That Microsoft
account doesn't exist. Enter a different account.'

So I can enter the account at the WCSU email portal (Microsoft Outlook 365 / Outlook), but the XBOX account does not recognize at initial sign in or through the help utilities offered by XBOX360. Any ideas?
