I cannot download rise of nations extended edition with game pass

I purchased game pass ultimate and have been trying to download rise of nations extended edition. it says in the app it is included in game pass but it does not give me the option to install it only to buy it. i looked at other games in the game pass they
gave me the option to install or buy along with going through the microsoft store page it was the same issue

no that did not work after downloading all the updates

There seems to be a few updates at least i am missing i wont get a chance to see if its that for a day or two because of work. i will check back in when i have finished all the updating

i already have rise of nations extended edition. that is not even the game i try to get help with. rise of legends is a different game. no matter how many times you claim them to be the same, it does not make it correct. you are still just as wrong in your statement. let us stop discussing rise of nations 1(rise of nation extended edition) and instead focus on rise of nations 2(rise of legends). i have been doing some testing. what i found is that the game struggles with maintaining connection when 2 different systems is used. windows 7 and 10 or windows 7 and 8.1 or windows 8.1 and 10. it works when both pcs run the same system.

You may still continue to play the game Rise of Nations Rise of Legends. However, based on our resources, this game reached end of life where game functionality and features is not always guaranteed.

Should you need to play multiplayer mode of the game with your friends you may try the updated version - Buy Rise of Nations: Extended Edition | Xbox.
