I cannot connect my xbox to my EA

Your accounts can’t be linked because your Xbox account Donutek97 already linked to your EA Account for va*****@rambler.ru. An EA Account can only be linked to one Xbox account in its lifetime.

This is a message I get when I try to link my xbox to my ea account. I do not recall owning or ever connecting before with such email. Somebody else has done that and now that I WISH to unlink that account from MY xbox account, both Microsoft and EA say they cannot do anything about it.

I've tried once here already and I've been sent to EA, where I tried multiple times to open up a ticket to try to resolve the issue, but the outcome was always the same. They say that since I am not the owner of this EA account, that's under this email: va*****@rambler.ru, then I cannot literally do ANYTHING.

I refuse to believe that no company can do anything about this... Does anyone know what I can do? Who I can talk to??

I am paying for Xbox gamepass and I would also like to benefit from EA play, and not that guy that hacked into my account and linked it with HIS account... Please help.

We have no ability to advise you on EA policies

I can tell you that domain is used by account hijackers, and that they should immediately take that as suspicious. What proofs EA requires is up to them however, and no one can unlnk and account except them. All account linking happens on the company in question's servers

The problem is that the EA account that is associated with my Xbox account is wrong. My Microsoft/Xbox account was the one that was hacked years ago and they connected their EA account to my Xbox account. EA won’t let me disconnect my Xbox account from that account because I don’t have that account’s information. I can see on the Game Pass app that there is some EA account linked to my Xbox account, but when I click “manage” it brings me to EA’s website. But, again, I cannot sign into this other person’s account to disconnect my Xbox account.

Its ridiculous. Someone should be able to fix this. I am going to have to start another “chat” with EA and they are going to tell me there’s nothing they can do since I don’t have access to that other EA account.

I appreciate your reply, this is just crazy.

I am having the same issue when Xbox 360 update was auto installed a couple of weeks ago. I have tons of stats for my PGA Tour 14 and every time I have played this week, the EA servers cannot connect. I too have followed everything that EA has suggested
except delete all progress into the game and start over. I will not do that.

I have tested to see if my external harddrive was the issue by unplugging it from my xbox and I still get same cannot connect with servers.

I hope that Microsoft has noticed this issue and are trying to fix it very soon, or they will have a lot of disappointed customers.

My mate is the same, he thinks EA hates him. Whenever we all try and play any EA game, he gets the 'Cannot connect to EA Servers' rubbish. Strange thing is though his wife can connect and she uses the same router lol. His concern is Battlefield 3 will be
the same.
