I cannot change language of my console

Dear,

I bought Xbox one in China, during initial setup i found there are no English available in the console, only one language available is Chinese though i can't read,

is there anyway i can change language in English? with chineses i cannot access on stores or even purchasing add-on for games as well,

does anyone can help me solve out problem?

Cannot change the language of my console

Hi, I set my console language to italian because I am italian, but as my girlfriend speaks only english I wanted to put it back to this language. So I tried to change it in my console preferences, but it doesn't work. Even if it is set as english, the language
the menus and everything appear is still italian... why?

Cannot change the language of my console

Hello,

It goes by the language you have setup for your account region. If your region is in Italian and other languages are selectable you should be able to change that by following the directions
here.

If only Italian is selectable then that's all that will be available in terms of the language of your dashboard and the games you download from the marketplace.

Hey there i can tell your English isn't the best but i'll try to help you. Right now you can't change the language it is being developed though for players who wish to play in a country that's native language isn't English so there isn't nothing to worry
the update will come out in August so right now there is no need to worry it'll be released soon.

have one more question upon purchase from store,

once i step into store in xbox one there are pop ups with some comments and i even cannot purchase anything even add-ons, does this happens because of regional restriction?

(( you can change the locale language of the dashboard in settings however online games and content will still be decided by the region of the account

if english is not offically supported in the region of the account you cannot change to it

once set a region of an account cannot be changed

nothing can be transfered between accounts not gamerscore or content ))

when i disconnect from XBL the language become english , when i connect its back to french ??

((To change the language: Settings > System > Console Settings > Language and Locale > Language > Select the language you want.

You can not change the region on your console and you can't transfer a gamerscore)

this option don't change the dashboard language .

Unfortunately the same happened to me in November- Russian language now on your console by any chance? I have now had to close my original xbox live account as the language cannot be changed again for another year! i did get a fairly quick refund though,
but as the live account is now in Russian and cannot be changed back, the refunded microsoft points were a bit of a waste! Microsoft need to look at this as i have lost faith in the console now, and will focus more on my PS3 unless they make it easier to transfer
languages on their Xbox live accounts!!
