I CANNOT CHANGE EMAIL OR RL NAME ON MY XBOX ONE!!!

Hi,

I just recently bought an Xbox One that was used, and it came with a whole bunch of games bought online. The only problem is that the previous owner didn't reset anything, so it's still his real name and email on the xbox. I want to use my onedrive to share
some of my videos to youtube, but I can't unless I change the name/email to my own. Is there any way to do that without logging into his account (I have no contact with him) or resetting (and losing all my games/game progress)???

How do I change my Personal name on Xbox One.

You have to go into the email account used to create the account and change it there. You cannot do it through the Xbox Live account itself.

I need to sever game name from email name

I got An Xbox and set up an avatar name and account. Later, I upgraded my Xbox and went for Xbox gold, too. I thought that I was offered a change in avatar name, so I put in a new name. To my surprise, this name is being used by my Microsoft email account.
The name is completely inappropriate, of course, for email purposes, but I don't know how to get rid of it. The account kept the original profile name, and assigned the second one I chose, to attach to my email. Very embarrassing. Have looked everywhere
for an answer/option to change it out, but cannot. Please HELLLLLPPPPPP!

Could just do the decent thing and delete the account. Microsoft might even consider what you are doing "Market Place Fraud". You don't want to risk having the console banned, do you?

My friend, Im having to remove random ppl that pop up in my friends list every single day for the past year or so. People that are on pc even add me. I only crossplay fortnite when I play with my RL friend. If someone changes their gamertag then I would
still know the person bc their rl name shows above their gamertag.

the email that i used for the account 5 years ago is the account i use to this day. i have access to the email but have received 1000's of emails from microsoft meaning it would take me very long to find emails with the old account name
