    I cannot answer Skype messages through the Guide.


    When I receive Skype messages and I want to answer them through the Guide, I hold pressed the Xbox button on my controller, and a complete blank tile appears, instead of appearing the tile with the white box to write the answer and the send button. I tried to uninstall Skype app and reinstall it, but it did not resolve the issue. I have filled a report.

    I can't snap Skype either, I imagine someone has a yes or no answer on this one? I guess we will wait.... I am however blown away that I can Skype while watching a movie and the person on the other end cannot hear the movie and does not receive any audio
    feedback from the movie. That is incredible, mind blowing really. Nicely done!

    Can xbox live communicate across both systems?

    I dont think Cross Gen Multiplayer will be available just because games like BF4 on XboxOne will have multiplayer games of 64 32vs32 and on Xbox 360 BF4 will have multiplayer games of 24 12vs12. I would think communication as far as skype, party chat, private
    chat and messaging would work. Skype itself i think answers the communication question. Skype will work if your calling from a 360 to XboxOne.

    Same issue for me.

    Playing game/watching movie.

    Skype call pops up.

    I say "xbox answer".

    Skype loads and takes me to the callers profile screen.

    I then have to select answer with video to connect to the call.

    I assume saying "xbox answer" should just load skype and connect me in one smooth flow, right?

    Nope, not fixed. Jumped through every single hoop yesterday, all the answers are in this thread of what I did and the results. It appeared to be fixed yesterday after reinstalling, but the issue persists: I cannot send messages through the Xbox app.

    Here is what the error message looks like when I attempt to send messages via the app:
