    I cannot access my settings, store, games and apps, and etc.


    Before I start going into detail about my issue here is some info. I have the new Dash board and I am apart of the new dashboard preview program. In addition, I moved back into my dorm from my house yesterday and when I was at home I didn't have any
    issues.

    Here's the my problem:

    So when booted up my Xbox one today everything seems to be working fine. It loaded the main menu, but it was not connected to xbox live. So I tried clicking the ' connect to xbox live' tab, but after a few minutes nothing happened. Then, I
    tried going to settings through the left sidebar on the HOME page, but it wouldn't let me go into the sidebar at all. After that I tried pressing the menu button to access my settings to try to connect to xbox live but the settings option wasn't there. In
    addition to this I couldn't access the 'games and apps' tab on xbox, It gave me a message saying that I need to install this game or app for this. I tried hard resetting my xbox, but it didn't work. I tried calling customer support for some help.
    When I finally got help the guy told me to connect my xbox through Ethernet. After I connected it to Ethernet, I was able to connect to xbox live, but I still was having the same problems. To elaborate, I wasn't able to access the 'store' and
    my 'game and apps' tab, it gave me the same message saying I need to install it. On top of that, I couldn't access my settings through the main menu and I still couldn't go to that side bar on the left. After I told the guy what just happened, we went
    through some trouble shooting but still nothing worked. Finally, he gave me a link to the Preview Program forum so I can post my problem and get help, but it wouldn't give me an option to post a thread, so then he took me to this page.

    I am lost and I have no idea on what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hello there, is there anyone that may be able to help me ? I cannot access my settings, store, games and apps, and etc. :(

    I downloaded the new Tomb Raider a few days ago stopped it after a minute to download the latest update for Destiny

    after doing that my xbox stopped downloading the Destiny files (Installation Stopped) since then i havnt been able to access

    anything on xbox except for Tomb Raider, i have uploaded a video to Youtube to show you the problem,

    First of all i have done a hard reset by holding down the power button for 20 seconds, unplugged it for 10 mins - 2 days still no change!

    Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks I cannot access my settings, store, games and apps, and etc. :)

    Hey there. If you didn't already try this, hold the Xbox logo on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until the console shuts down, and unplug the power cord from the back for 5 minutes. This should reset the network card, and may straighten out
    any issues you have.

    Regarding the preview forums, if you follow this link (forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx) and select the current update (right now this
    is the New Xbox One Experience), you should be able to create a new post once you select a category. The only time I've seen it not give an option to create a post is if you are in an older update, so the link you got may have been old.

    Hey I just read your problem and this is what I've managed to find on the support website: "If you’re seeing this message and error code, it means that you cannot access the Games Store or the Apps Store through your Xbox 360 console. Some Internet connection
    types and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) cannot provide access to the Games Store or the Apps Store. Note We are aware of this issue and working with the affected ISPs to resolve the problem."

    The only solution I can think of is downloading your profile at another location that uses a different ISP (maybe a friend's house).
