I can talk but my friends can’t hear me though party chat

On a Friday night when I just got on the the Xbox I was about to play Minecraft with my friends. Before I had no issues until later on I thought my friends was pulling a prank on me that they were ignoring me. I heard myself through the Xbox app that my friend uses . he was the only one that heard me. So then I restarted everything my controller, mic, and Xbox, so then I got back on my Xbox on a Sunday my friends still couldn’t hear me, even though the party overlay said I was talking. I joined different Xbox parties but nobody still heard me. Is there any cure for this problem?

This issue can happen for many reasons. It could be a hardware issue with the headset or controller. It also might just be a setting or your network not functioning the way it should. Here are some trouble shooting tips for you to try. People can't hear me!

Also, Try looking at your audio In your settings and tinkering around with them and make sure that you actually have ticked to "On" in system audio settings!

I realize what I said may be confusing. In a party chat, I can hear my friends but I can’t talk.

The only way I can talk to my friends is when the party chat is pin. When the party chat is unpin I can hear my friend but they don't hear me. When I tried to allow xbox gamebar background permissions I don't have the option.

Okay I can't help you with the issue but I have a similar problem where I can hear friends in party chat and game chat but they can't hear me even though my Xbox is detecting that it hears me talking. This both applies through my mic and the kinect. The
thing that puzzles me over it all, is that my mic and kinect definitely work because they work through the Skype app, so can anyone help, please

La entrada de los controles es de 3.5 lo cual te permite habilitar el micrófono, también podria ser una falta de actualización o que tu amigo te a silenciado sin querer.
