    I can`t download minecraft.


    As far as I remember it correctly I bought minecraft around 2015, ten years from now. I recently bought a new laptop and I downloaded the launcher just fine. But I can`t procced any further. The error 0x803f8001 pops on. I am sure that I have bought minecraft since on the webpage, there is no "buy it now" button at the screen whilst it isn`t when I log in to a different account.

    The content is locked to the purchasing console and account, so your old hard drive is of no use unless its linked up with one of those things.

    Are you using the account that originaly bought the game as things do not just dissapear from your download history.
