Discus and support I can sign into website but an error message occurs when i try and sign in on xbox account... in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So I redeemed Xbox Game-pass Gift Card that I purchased today and the website sign in works fine but when i try and sign into the app it says an error...     I can sign into website but an error message occurs when i try and sign in on xbox account...


    So I redeemed Xbox Game-pass Gift Card that I purchased today and the website sign in works fine but when i try and sign into the app it says an error has occured and there is a random email that is added to my account that makes my password wrong and im not sure what to do because i cannot cancel my purchase but i can't sign into the account to utilise the purchase. Would appreciate if you could get back ASAP because it has been an issue with my microsoft account for a while and there is other issues on my computer. The attach message button isnt working so i cannot attach images at this time but it says to try and sign in again in my settings but error message 0x800704cf and another one appear when i attempt to sign in.

    This is only happening when you try signing into your account on the xbox 360?

    So you can sign in no problems on the xbox One and the website?

    Is it giving you any sort of error message along with them error codes?

    Like password incorrect or anything like that?

    Finding a "glitch in the system" is an error message that historically has occurred from the Xbox.com website. What is the exact wording of the error message you see when you try signing in to their console? Do you see any error codes?

    When I did another wifi it changed the error to “An unexpected error occurred while signing into your account for xbox live, please try again later.”

    Yes I am signed in, I'm not on the console, I'm on the website on my computer signed in with an adult account, and there is no error code number. It simply says "An unexpected error occurred"
