    I can play online, But can't download free games?


    I have Xbox live gold but it won't let me download lords of the fallen, on the tittle screen it says go gold for 1$, I click and it leads me to pay again for gold, I search up the free game of the month, And it just brings me to the pay screen, meanwhile
    I can play online join party's and more, Why? Someone help

    It looks like you are still running a silver account (or just an Xbox Live Trial membership). If it is a trial membership, you will not be able to utilize some features of a full Gold membership like Games with Gold.

    that's why it didn't come with the code.

    To play any game online you need gold. A free to play game is only a game you can download without paying for the game itself.
