I can only play backwards compatible games on my xbox one

Discus and support I can only play backwards compatible games on my xbox one in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I own 4 xbox one games and I have played them all before, but yesterday I bought the disc of fallout 3 for xbox 360, and had played that for a while....     I can only play backwards compatible games on my xbox one


    I own 4 xbox one games and I have played them all before, but yesterday I bought the disc of fallout 3 for xbox 360, and had played that for a while. However, today I have tried to play Monster Hunter World, one of the xbox one games and it tells me "Do
    you own this game or app?" Error code 0x803f8001. I tried the same thing with wolfenstein 2 which I had played the same day I bought fallout 3 but I got the same message. I can't find anything like this on other forums so please help. Thanks! I don't really
    know any more about the problem so I don't know which forum to post it in, sorry if it's not in the right one!

    The only xbox one game that has cross platform play as far as I know is World of Tanks.I don't even think there is a 360 version of Fifa 17

    If he is on the xbox one then he will only be able to play with his friends on the 360 if it's a backwards compatible game.

    No. You can only play the xbox 360 games that are backwards compatible on your xbox one. Thats what backwards compatible stands for.
