    I can not upgrade to minecraft version 1.9.0.3 on windows 10


    i try to play minecraft with a person who has it in xbox one and minecraft said: the client was outdated, then look how to update it but only stayed until version 1.8.0 what can I do?

    (the actual version is the 1.9.0.3)

    The person playing on xbox one might be signed up for the beta for minecraft.

    As the version that is out for general public is 1.8.0.

    What is your current Windows 10 version. You can use Winver command to check it out. I would suggest to update to the latest Windows 10 version which is 1809 and then check for updates in the Windows Store.

    Did you try to uninstall the game and reinstall it? That may solve it.
